LAETA`s president was awarded the ZwickRoell Science Award

Pedro Camanho, LAETA`s president, received 3rd place in the ZwickRoell Science Award 2023 for the scientific research "Combined bearing/pull-through failure envelope of composite joints: experimental setup and numerical validation".

For the ZwickRoell Science Award 2023, scientific publications from 162 participants and 35 countries have been submitted. The ZwickRoell Science Award recognizes innovative scientific work that contributes to knowledge about the mechanical testing of materials.

The 3rd place is endowed with €1000 and the warding ceremony will take place in Germany from October 21 to 24.
