The 2nd International Conference on Mechanics of Solids will take place in Porto (Portugal), between October 3rd and 4th. This conference, chaired by Lucas da Silva, researcher at LAETA, aims to disseminate the last developments in the field of solid mechanics. The focus is on the mechanics of deformable solids, dynamics of particles and rigid bodies.
