Researcher Lucas da Silva is Editor-in-Chief of the journal “Discover Mechanical Engineering”

Lucas da Silva, a researcher from LAETA and INEGI – Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, was recently appointed Editor-in-Chief of "Discover Mechanical Engineering", a new journal from the prestigious publisher Springer Nature.

This new publication "is part of the Discover journal series committed to providing a streamlined submission process, rapid review and publication, and a high level of author service at every stage. It is an open access, community-focused journal publishing research relevant to mechanical engineering from across all fields”, according to Springer Nature.

Lucas da Silva is a PhD in Adhesive Structural Bonding of Composites from the University of Bristol (United Kingdom). Currently, he leads the Advanced Bonding Processes INEGI’s area and is Professor at Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP).
