Researcher Luís Alves Leads Project to Develop Innovative Design for Commemorative Coin

Luís Alves, researcher at LAETA and IDMEC, coordinated the project that made possible the creation of a commemorative coin, issued by Imprensa Nacional - Casa da Moeda, with an innovative design achieved through a new technology.

The "Arco e Gancheta" commemorative silver coin, with a face value of 5€, features a rotating element that evokes the movement of a bow, as it is part of a series dedicated to Childhood Games and represents a moving toy.
